Bio: Michael G. LombA 1992 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology's Fine and Applied Arts program, Michael is a recipient of RIT's prestigious Art and Design Scholarship. By attending RIT, Michael passed over competing art scholarships to continue a family tradition at the University.
Michael has been acknowledged both internationally and locally for his talents. His photorealistic piece entitled “Breakfast” (see paintings category) is an Acrylic painting, produced in 1988, for which he won Best of Show honors out of over 1,200 competing entries. Internationally, he has been recognized by Corel Corporation (1996) for a computer generated graphics piece. The prize winning entry from CorelDRAW’s World Design Competition, honored with "Top 20 Status," is featured in Corel’s ArtShow7 book which is published worldwide.
An experienced design professional, Michael is also the Owner and Creative Director of MG Lomb Advertising, a full service advertising agency located in Fairport, NY, in the Box Factory Building, along side the Erie Canal. www.mglomb.com |
